Trig Walkway
If you’re looking for a walk in the Levin area, then this one could be for you. I would say a moderate fitness level is needed to get to the top, but you could make it up to the lookout unfit, if you took it slower. This walk has three tracks leading up to a lookout point called Arapaepae Lookout.
Two of these tracks are through the bush, and between the pine forest. One of these tracks are for mountain bikers only. The other track to the lookout is a gravel road. This road is used for maintaining the pine forest.
Trig Walkway is very popular with the locals, for walking, jogging and mountain bike riding. Well worth the view climbing to the top.
