I’m Maria, and my partner is Olly. Together we love to go hiking in our beautiful home, New Zealand.
We decided to blog about our experiences and share with you, information on the hikes we visit,
as well as our own personal feelings, thoughts and experiences.

As this is a new blog, we will be adding more tracks, trails and bushwalks to the website as we go.

Olly has a deep love for the bush and forests of New Zealand.  He has spent a number of years living remotely in bush land and forests, starting when he was in his early teens.  My love for the trees, bush and forests also came from my youthful experiences exploring the hills and valleys around home.
